Hi, I'm Tasnim ISLAM.
During my time at UT, I have seen only a few of the many inequities on campus that require a broader and more impactful reform.
Being part of the LGBTQIA+ community opened my eyes to the endless list of struggles we face every day, specifically in regards to inclusive housing and representation. Receiving basic healthcare has become a burden for students, protection for sexual violence survivors lacks necessary support, and the voices of our immigrant friends desperately need uplifting. We will continue to work tirelessly until we accomplish these initiatives because students require these platforms to improve their quality of life. Through inclusion, support, health, and diversity efforts, we know The University of Texas can reach a greater potential.

I hope you join us in making our campaign’s vision a reality.
What starts with us changes the world.
